hi everyone iam new on here so i hope that someone can help me,i need a pcmcia cdrom boot disk so i can do a clean install, i have a ibm 560x laptop with a external ibm 20x cd rom i have a recovery disk wins 95 wot came with the laptop . the cd rom only works with the recovery disk , but i want the cd rom to work without the recovery disk so i can do a clean install with windows me boot disk. i have tryed with a windows 98 boot disk but wont detect my cd rom , so can anyone help please.

no its a pcmcia cd rom with a ide card.
