Hi there Jakes.

How about Sygate or Zonealarm?

Have a look in our download section for the free versions:

http://www.pchelpforum.com/firewall-software/

And have a look here for installation guides:

I'd go for Sygate. I'm using it too, and does the job fine for me.

Unfotunately Sygate Personall Firewall is nog available for free since a fwe weeks.
After Sygate I think Kerio Personall Firewall is a very good solution (if u want something for free)

Is that true?
If it is it should perhaps be removed from our download section.
I'm going to figure it out.

Looks like you can still download the free version:

http://smb.sygate.com/products/spf_standard.htm

Maybe they are planning on stopping with the free version?

EDIT; Symantec has bought Sygate and the new 2006 symantec/sygate personal firewall is costing $37.49 , but the link for the free Sygate personal firewall still works. (for now anyway)

Check http://tweakers.net/nieuws/40115/?highlight=sygate for info in Dutch
It says that Kerio is stoped too, but that is not true there is still a free version available, but they are also going to stop @Dec 31 - 2005.

Note!: You can use the firewalls but there will be no updates available.
