Hello, Can anyone tell me the easiest way to nuke my hard drive. Windows ME. (Donating computer to katrina fund)

Sorry I'm from Holland and my dictionary says to nuke means to complete destroy :lol:
So I think you mean you want to clean it up so that no one ever sees your files?
Anyway if you're able to, hang it in another PC and format it a few times.
What operating system was there on that PC?

Hi I am running ME on this PC. I want to erase the Hard drive.

You are not able to hang your harddisk into another PC?
You can format with the ME cd i thought.
But I'm not sure never used ME..

Not sure what you mean by "hang"

Connect it to another PC's mainboard, and then format it through the OS that's installed on that PC.

Ok there's anoter (perhaps easier) way. Can you create a startup disk?
Insert it to your A: driver and restart your computer.
Then you'll get a kind of DOS screen.
Enter: FORMAT C: /S
And push enter button.
Your harddisk will be formatted.
