Default [Resolved] 98se reboots at startup
Hi there...
I have a 98SE in which i upgraded the hardware.
The components at the moment are:

1.5ghz processor
512MB RAM
nVidia geforce fx5200

i have a big problem though
everytime i turn it on, it gets to the desktop and then it rebootseverynow and then it dosen't
last time it didn't i ran Adaware, AVG and spybot to see if there was a virus etc but there wasn't
it is really annoying me

also,
every now and then the bluescreen comes up with the error message:

"An exception OE has occurred at 0028:C00152F2 in VxD . This was called from 0028:C0093742.
Can anyone please help?

When you upgraded the processor and vga card , did you re-install windows?

Did you also install the latest motherboard and vga drivers?

And updated Windows?

its fully updated and i have the latest 98 drivers dont know about the motherboard as my uncle gave it to me minus the disc

Yup , if you didn't install any motherboard drivers then that could very well whats causing those errors.
