Windows 95, 98 & ME - [Resolved] 98se reboots at startup posted in the Operating Systems forums; i belive it is fixed for now i have all the latest drivers and it is running normaly thankyou...

i spoke to soon
i know know what it is
i had taken of the 77.72 nvidia drivers and i put them back on after the cycle stopped...
it was fine for a while and now its back again...
i'll see if i can reinstall the older one and see if that helps

For youre card and O.S. i think either the 53.04 or the 56.64 would work best.

the unistalation of the driver went a bit pearshaped
now its gone into the loop permanently
i can get into safe mode but it will not let me reinstall the older ones in it....
im a bit stuck now

Try this tool in safemode to remove leftovers of the driver and see if you can reinstall after that:

i did but it still rebooted...
even with the drivers you said
i got so fed up with it i reformated c and installed it again
ang guess what......

it still does it
