I don't know if were on the same page here. We're talking about Windows 98 right? Windows 98 does not have a folder called "Network Connections". :-(

What it does have in "My Computer" is an icon called "Dial-up Networking". Clicking on this opens a window which has 2 icons - namely "Make a New Connection" and Sprint.DUN (which is the connection I made to my ISP using "Make a New Connection")

Sprint.DUN can be dragged onto the desktop, and, clicking on it will start the dialer, connect to the remote PC (Sprint), negotiate protocols and verify my username and password. Once all that is done, it minimizes to my systray and I am connected.

However there is no folder for "Dialup Networking" and a search of my HD for Sprint.dun finds zilch!

So my question is; If I wanted to launch Notepad from a command line I would type the path;

C:\Windows\Notepad.exe

What would I type to start Sprint.dun?
What is the path?

Did you have any software, supplied to you by your ISP?

Nope. None needed. They give you the setup info over the phone. All you need to do is create a dial-up connection using My Computer/Dialup Networking/Make a New Connection to access the Internet.

Hmm wierd they dont supply you with software.. You asked the path and you see the only path is C:\Windows\Desktop\Sprint.dun Other than that I am clueless. Can you email the makers of the MyRun and ask then?

Can you have it point to just the dial up network instead of the sprint? I mean there has to be an exucatble for the dialup, finding it is the hard part. it might not be sprints exe but there has to be an exe somwhere to run it
