Windows 95, 98 & ME - [Fixed] Where does the DUN file reside in Windows 98SE? posted in the Operating Systems forums; Yes, it works from the desktop but not from within MyRun's command path. See attached jpg. With other groups - e.g. if I load IE (iexplore.exe) together with MailMagic (mailmagic.exe) ...

Yes, it works from the desktop but not from within MyRun's command path. See attached jpg.

With other groups - e.g. if I load IE (iexplore.exe) together with MailMagic (mailmagic.exe) as long as I have a path to the exe files there is no problem. However Sprint.dun is not an exe file!

I have written to the program developer but as yet, no answer. (sigh)

If you rightclick on that icon and select properties , does it show you the path to the file then?

Right clicking and selectiong "properties" on the desktop icon shows as per jpg 1

Can you search for the sprint.exe?

The shortcut is an expoted file so it came from a folder.

A search of my whole HD for sprint.* revealed no sprint.exe. Only sprint.dun (c:\windows\desktop) as mentioned before.
It's a real mystery to me! :banghead:

It does not find the file or folder called Network Connection's? If it aint finding that then somthings wrong.

Did you do a full search just ofr Sprint? Seems sprint.DUN is for exporting and importing files from phone's and HandHeld's From what I see about the file
