Default [Resolved] Problem with MAD.EXE Motive support center in Presario ME

I get messages reporting run tme errors. I have had this problem in the past and have downloaded a driver file SP18096, shut down my computer and restarted with only the specified programs running, but it fails to correct the problem.
Anyone have a corrective action?

Basically it just reports" untimed error. "
Then at times the screen goes blank and I get a message
"Cannot write to the disk in drive C Press any key to return."
However it appears to be accepting things on drive C when I get back to the screen.
I will send this and check again for the exact wording of the untimed error.
MAD.exe has an error in it I am sure.

Back, When I try to run MAD it shows the same error:
"C ... Compaq KnowledgeCenter\bin\mad.exe"
"Abnormal program termination"

Hi Bob, can you not remove the offending file and re-install it if you require it?

Good idea, but I believe it came installed. So I have no disk.
