regshave.exe installed alongside the drivers for Fuji FinePix digital cameras
Nprotect is part of Norton Utilities.
nisum.exe is a process associated with Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall.
KB891711.EXE is a Windows Security update process which is installed on mainly Windows 89 machines and provides additional protection from Internet-bound threats. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.
I can't see anthing from that list that shouldn't really be there or that could slow down your pc dramatically.
I did pick this comment up from Amazon tho - makes intersting reading - you might want to check the minimum spec for ME
I purchased Norton SystemWorks 2005 for the Antivirus protection and Norton Utilites (for pc troubleshooting\optimisation) - installing this on a Pentium II 400Mhz 30Gig HD 256Mb RAM pc running Windows XP SP2. This is the absolute minimum spec hardware to run Windows XP on and gives a good indication of how efficiently installed applications perform.
