AwesomeAndrew,
Sounds like you could have possibly knocked the cable(s) from the hard drive loose. There are two cables, one is small and white with multi-color wires coming from it, this is power. The other should be longer and grey, black, or white. It is also thin, called a ribbon cable. This cable is the one that transmits the data from the hard drive to the rest of the computer. If either one of these is loosened even a slight bit, the hard drive becomes invisible to the computer.

Check these this way:
- Disconnect and reseat both cables into the hard drive. Press the ribbon slightly with your finger on both ends to ensure it is snug.
- follow the ribbon cable to the other end, pull it out and reseat it into the motherboard. Again press slightly with your finger on both ends to make sure it is snug.
- MAKE SURE YOUR COMPUTER IS OFF WHEN YOU DO THIS!!. Then restart it when you are finished.

When the diagonstics screen comes up, hit whatever key is required to enter setup. Make sure it detected the drives. If it is an older machine, you may need to do this yourself. Where it lists the drives, there should be an option somewheres that allows you to have the computer autodetect the drives.

Hope this and Zimbo's help helps you!
