Default [Answered] Windows Media Player

I've had this problem for a while but have just left it, now it's starting to really annoy me Basically, Windows media player will not connect to the internet, whenever it tries, it fails. I can't see some of the content on the internet because of this, is there anyone who can help?

Try to uninstall and re-install your Windows Media player.

You can download Windows Media Player from here

I saw this in another Windows ME thread, have no idea if it works but give it a shot.

Try running this from the start menu->run command RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\wmp.inf,Uninstall

Otherwise it might be worth trying to re-install Media Player on top of the one you have.
