I have the following system information.
AMD Phenom 9950 Quad Core 2.61 ghz
    8gb memory
    Windows 7 64
ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB memory
    Auzen X-Fi Prelude 7.1 sound
    Ultra 1000 watt PS
    Ultra Chilltec Cooler
    Asus M3A32-MVP MB

I have seen the BSOD while in the control panel looking at the sound drivers, but mostly when playing Battlefield 3. I cannot be sure if it
is sound or video related. I just purchased the ATI 5870, I had two 4800
    series running crossfire prior.

    Certainly greatful for any help

So far shows, 647 errors. Now once complete how to I determine what stick of ram is bad?
Also only 46% complete on first pass

You will have to run Memtest86+ for each stick separately.

    Just one at a time..

Thanks, figured that out. Found one bad stick. Tried it in different slots
To make sure it was stick and no slot. Cousar twin memory so both have to go back.
Thanks again for your help. That seems to have been the issue.
Great help. I will send a donation today.
