what web host would you recommend that's in the US with good prices and is fast? Looking to change my host.

Looks like Godaddy are overselling a bit. Personally I would check sites running on the host and see how the perform before purchasing. What control panel do you need? Disk space and bandwidth?

Don't go with dreamhost, they oversell a lot and there uptime is not too brilliant

Give 1and1 a shot. Their prices are great.. support takes a while to respond (usually within 24 hours though) but other than that their servers are fast and cheap. I currently use them and have had no problems whatsoever.

A quick google search suggests otherwise for 1&1, there is some happy customers but I think better hosting packages are available elsewhere.

I have had them for some time now.. and haven't had a single problem? What problems do you suggest? What other hosting plans are better for the price?

I used 1and1 in the past. It still remains one of the worst decisions I have made in my "online" life.
