I think what Upgrader ment is with hosting there is many differnet control pannels you can get, some web hosts use there on but most use a program called Cpanel .

Did you get it fixed then Robman?

To me it seemed as though one of the requirements for Joomla was missing on your webhosting.

I managed to install Joomla easily using the Browser installation.

Hi all!

I think I found the problem. I used a free server provided by my ISP but I think it's not suited for CMS like Joomla!. There is a cPanel but the majority of the options are disabled and if you want to use those you need to pay.
Thus, I probably need a paid server.
