i am trying to display a large number (922337203685449984) that is being called from a mySQL database but it keeps on printing as 9.2233720368545E+17.

does anybody know of a function that will display the number properly withoiut the E+17

Unfortunately I don't know PHP either, but you can consider using float instead of integer?

I'm pretty good with PHP, may I see the code you are using to define and store it and also the code you are using to display it. I will be able to help you much better that way.

sorry i haven't got back to this in a while, been rather busy, i have since fixed the problem by using a SUM query, thanks for the replies guys
