Default [Answered] Website "Quote" pages

I am helping a friend with his Insurace Agency website. He wants to add pages to allow customers to provide enough information to him to allow him to reply with a quote. Here is a site with the function that he wants to add:

Al Bourdeau Insurance Service, Inc. - Michigan

My question is, "how do I write the data collected, to a file that would be readable to him?"

I am not an experienced database creator but is this where the SQL function comes in?

Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks

you could do it that way but you would probley then have to creat a page to read the database so he can get the information back or you could get it to send the information in an email wich is they way i would probley chose as it will be much easier.

what are you codeing the site in PHP, HTML, ASP or some things else

Hi Scott,

You would need a "CGI-BIN" on the server if you want to actually save them as files, a bit of programming would be required, and they would only save on the server, so you would need to FTP into the server regularly to pick them up.

I would have thought it would be much easier to set up a simple form mailer, that will mail you each time a person hits the submit button?
