Hey guys i need help on Installing ipb 2.1.7 I know i FTP the files over but after that I dont get what to do can someone help me? I have SMF forum know and that is easy just FTP over and install but i dont know how to isntall ipb. And also you can help me on AIM my s/n is Bighomedog11 or you can help me on here.

There should be a folder called install, you'll have to run that.

http://yoursite.com/forums/install

It will give you instructions on what files you need to chmod. To chmod a file, select it in FTP, and select the numbers listed in the installer.

It will also ask you info on your database. You'll need to setup a new database and user in your hosting control panel.
