Question [Answered] Ok guy's Lol Need some help

Ok this is where I run off and scream, I have no idea about websites, other than to type on em. I don't have a website but I have a gig of webspace from my ISP and would like to host some files I know HTML pretty good, have not used it for awhile but its like riding a bike. So when I upload stuff I only get the usuall parent directory stuff what do i have to do to make it to where I can have the name of the files and a nice background(nothing fancy) up there. Hey there's some tech point's for this one lol.

Heres my site http://webpages.charter.net/bmvanlieshout

Hi bud

Any program like Dreamweaver, Frontpage or even Word will give you the ability to add a simple (or otherwise) html page to your home directory. I will PM you about this...

Before you go out and spend alot of money on Dreamweaver, Frontpage, or some other program, download Nvu and try that out. It is free, based on Mozilla Composer that ships with Netscape, but with some extra features, such as a CSS editor.
