Want to use your PS3 controller as a pc controller? yes? read on.
I used my PS3 controll for flatout, only game i knew had game pad compatabilite, and i couldnt be asked to load up and see if my other games did, but yea it works fine.
Definately not recommended for shooters, fps, for obvious reasons.
But for adventures, racers etc heres how.
First up, you need XP, i dont know if it works with vista but you can try 
Ok you need your USB charger for your ps3, so you SIXAXIS can connect to your pc.
1. Download This ( I scanned it with superanti, and avast before and after extraction and install, seems safe)
2. Create a new folder in C:\ or w/e your main drive is, and called i PS3CONTROLL.
3. Now double click libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe
4. Once installed plug in your controll via the usb charger cable that came with your SIXAXIS and then run ps3sixaxis_en.exe from C:\PS3CONTROLL (Or whatever you called that new folder)
5. A little dos box will come up once it closes, press the PS home button on your SIXAXIS.
And there you go
PROBLEMS
1. Ive noticed the following, in counter strike source, when you enable joystick, the left joystick is the look and the right is the move, this may be unnatural to console fpsers as its usually the otherway around.
I however couldnt get the hang of it, so thats that.
2. There is a problem with card adapters and using this software apparently, so if you have a card reader its best safe to not use this.
3. Motion sensing dose not work, obviously.
Other than them few problems, it is a great pc controll, as its easily the most comfortable and easy to use control ( hehe ^^ go sony).

Lastly if this makes your pc blow up, cause a catacalismic nuclear explosion, turns into an ACU from supreme commander or break in any way i am not responsible, it works for me and my ps3 controll is fine.
