hi there
I have an HP pavilion dv 2000 laptop 14".... I asked in the electronics store and they told me to buy a SVGA monitor cable 15 pin to be able to connect the pc and Tv together.
The TV is a 42" LG. My computer does not have hdmi but has VGA and maybe DVI, there is a round outlet and some small square ones.
But when I turn my TV on RPG pc input, there is no signal when they are connected??
Is there a way to solve this? Or should I return the cable and maybe try the DVI cable??
Please help!
Thanks in advance

I had an issue simialr to this, my resolution on my PC for the connection to the TV was incorrect. I dont know if this would be the same problem for a Laptop. Try and find the default resoultion for the TV, then set your laptop to that.
Hope I made sense.

it could make sense, I,m not sure how to do it, that,s the problem.
I just press the input button and choose rbg PC from the choices of AV1 2 and 3 and so on... The default resolution, not sure how to do it. The TV shows a message like this "no signal",,,, |
