Unfinished Threads - Blank screen on start up posted in the Community forums; It suprisingly didn't look like it had a fan, i only saw heatsink though there could be a fan inside the heatsink i guess. I guess i could try another ...

I guess i could try another monitor. It might be easiest(no moveing of furniture) if i used my TVish screen from that funny output.

Ok then it is starting to look like a motherboard problem. Or a power supply problem,

Do you have onboard graphics as well? By that I mean is there another place to connect your monitor to the pc?

Now if your monitor works on another pc maybe we can check if the card works as well. This way we can rule out the card being Dead on arrival.

Okay i checked the card on another pc and it starts up fine and shows graphics unlike the card does on mine.(my old card that broke wouldn't show graphics on mine either) So how do i determine now if it is the motherboard or powersupply?
