Scanner Woes

Okay, did that. Windows detected all the hubs, but not the scanner. Sees the printer just fine . . . where, oh, where can my little scanner be? Oh, where, oh, where, can it be? Oh, sorry . . .! Okay, so it's sitting right here next to me on its little file cabinet.

Nothing's changed. :cry:

The mouse still freezes if the scanner is plugged into the slot below it, and the keyboard freezes if the scanner is plugged in below it.

I think my computer has suddenly become selectively blind . . . Of course, there is the chance that the scanner has kicked the bucket, only it's just over a year old. I was hoping it'd last, oh, you know . . . forever! Or at least until I wanted to upgrade!

Ah, well . . . what next O great one?

I guess I'll see if this thing will be detected by PJ's computer. If it can't be, I'll declare it dead. Go get a new one . . . Don't know what else to try.

Dang . . . it's dead . . . Didn't work on PJ's computer, either. Rats . . . not sure how I'll survive without it until I can replace it . . . I know, somehow, I will. It'll be hard . . . but . . . I will . . . somehow . . .:cheesy:
