Question: Gaming with a 2gig allowance

can someone tell me if gaming, on the internet, counts as web-surfing or does it count as downloading.

I ask this question because all my mates are on unmetered but i cannot aford it, and games are constantly uploading and downloading packet files from your pc to the server.

Please someone help! These stupid internet companies dont have an email address to ask this question.

Surfing , downloading and gaming all use bandwith , if you have a data limit then it doesn't matter how you use youre bandwith.

I'am actually on pay as you go dial up at the moment but i was thinking of getting the ?16.99 2mb tiscali broadband package. I know what the Mb is, it's the amount i download what i'am worried about.

is online gaming, for example call or duty or counter strike source, going to take up much of my monthly usage amount. does it count a web browsing or download, like an mp3 or video file.
Obviously i will be download mods and patched here and there.

The online gaming will certainly not put you anywhere near your limit.
