No matter what program I'm in, lately when I'm typing (i.e. in Outlook, Word, Online, etc.) the active window I'm typing in will flash a bit and suddenly the letters I'm typing stop being applied into whichever application I'm in. It's like the active window I'm using becomes inactive. To reactivate it, I have to click anywhere in the window again so I can continue typing. I've tried restarting my PC, but that hasn't fixed the problem. It also doesn't matter if the window I'm in is maximized or reduced in size. Anyone know what could be causing this problem? I've never seen anything like this in the past and I'm using the same PC I've had for a long time. (Using Windows 7)

Choose a system restore point from before the advent of the problem.
Microsoft creates system restore points automatically when an update is made. You have system restore points.

Here is how to use the System Restore Point feature:
RESTORE TO A PREVIOUS SYSTEM RESTORE POINT
    1) WIN | type SYSTEM RESTORE | ENTER | NEXT
    |Choose a different restore point radio button
    | NEXT

    2) Show more restore points checkbox (lower left)

    3) Highlight the desired restore point

    4) Scan for affected programs (lower right)make a note of affected programs
    5) CLOSE | NEXT | FINISH

WIN = key with the wavy Microsoft flag on top.

    OK... will try system restore.
Regarding entering my PC Specs. I downloaded Speccy. You said to then click "User CP" in upper left of the PC help forum window. There is no "User CP" button or link on any pages I opened. What page do I go to. I thought it might be a display problem in Google Chrome, but I didn't see it from IE9 either. Please advise?
