Smart HDD Virus Help!!

    a whole bunch of new things came up... Word documents that had some of the original final name, but had a dollar sign in it randomly. They were also semi-faded. But everything else seems to be there...

    Those are temp files. When a doc is opened and improperly closed or not closed at all those type files are created. Are all your files back though?

    Indeed! Everything seems in tact. Once again, my desktop is just flooded with those Temp files. Should I just manually delete them?
