hey all, I recently broke my headphone jack on my laptop such that no sound will come through headphones and the computer "thinks" there are always headphones in there, so no sound through speakers either.

Any software workaround of this so i can get some sound again?

(yes i know the jack is broken, pieces of it came out :( )

    Hello jmac9,

I would suggest adjusting the Audio settings under Sound in Control Panel to point to the Laptop speakers rather than the headset.

Please double check the Sounds in Control Panel. It should be there.

What are your drop down options in Sounds -> Audio -> Advanced?
