For the past couple of days, a site called mypoints.com is taking control of my browser when I type in a new address. (For instance, if I type in snopes.com, mypoints pops up.) I've done a couple of things that have been suggested here, but some of them I can't because ... my browser is being hijacked.

I looked at the instructions in this post: http://www.pchelpforum.com/windows-xp-2000/54951-browser-hacked.html and ran the malwarebytes anti-malware and uninstalled the problems that were found. However, I can't use the combofix thing A guide and tutorial on using ComboFix because when I try to go to the link, my browser is hijacked.

I'm running with Firefox Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3. I tried using IE & it appears that there is a problem with that browser also.

Here are the HJT logs that I ran after running malwarebytes:

    ok.Lets dig deep.

Download Random's System Information Tool RSIT and save it to your desktop. Double click RSIT.exe to start the tool and click Continue at the disclaimer.
When the scan completes it will open a log called log.txt and a log called info.txt .
Copy and paste the contents of log.txt here.

Please attach info.txt to your post.
