Hello valjesnet and welcome to PCHF,

Have you tried the simple things such as Disk Cleanup, Disk Defragmentor and CCleaner?

    Regards,

    Clever_Duck :)

    Hey There.

I am pointing this more towards Facebook being the issue.

I will also ask have you installed Adobe Flash player?

Facebook for some weeks now have been updating there site. This has given many many people problems with Facebook, from HTTP errors to slow pages, unable to play Facebook games etc etc.The list of errors has even given people errors when trying to login, cannot veiw there profiles.

I possibly think the issue it not your new Aspire but Facebook itself.

As we are unaware of when they have or will finish updating there site many of us have to just put up with the issues untill such time they have finished what ever mess they have created.

Others can input on this subject and help you.

    Nice one Jelly Bean

Can you please do as Jelly Bean (a more experienced member than me :)) has advised. But can you also do the disk defragmenter and disk cleanup (which comes with Windows), it will help :D

    Regards,

    Clever_Duck :)

    1. Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button [IMG], clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking System Tools, and then clicking Disk Cleanup.
    2. In the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean up your own files only or all of the files on the computer. [IMG] If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. If the Disk Cleanup: Drive Selection dialog box appears, select the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.
    4. Click the Disk Cleanup tab, and then select the check boxes for the files you want to delete.
    5. When you finish selecting the files you want to delete, click OK, and then click Delete files to confirm the operation. Disk Cleanup proceeds to remove all unnecessary files from your computer.

Can you also update the flash player as Jelly Bean advised.

    Clever_Duck :)

Is it only facebook games you are having problems with?

And disk cleanup isn't necessary, but it may be useful.

Also, an update if flash player could solve the problem, so could you please do that.

    Regards,

    Clever_Duck :)
