    Re: Internet Problems.

I also forgot to mention that it was working fine until yesterday. It does not show me disconnecting from the internet but I was looking at the resource monitor(networking) tab it look very unstable and will go to zero. Thats when I get page saying it could not load the page. After a few sec I refresh the page it load right up. This is getting annoying when I'm trying to watch netflix or something I have to reload it all the time!.

    Welcome to PCHF, AceDestiny :)

I have moved your post into its own thread as we require that each member's issues be handled without interruption. Our members and their issues deserve the full attention of the Tech supporting them, without complication from other users' issues, regardless how similar. Remember, everyone's experience is unique.
It would be most helpful if you could complete your [IMG] portion of the User Profile. That would put your system's information in the small computer icon just right of your name. That will "travel with you" at PCHF so we don't have to ask for it again. Be sure to mark them to be visible. The default is NOT to show them.

Which SSID identifies your Network? From the looks of your log, it appears that the most likely issue is that your router's channel is being "stepped on" by other area routers also set to the same channel. I would suggest scanning that log and finding another channel that is not in use by your neighbors. If YOUR network is the one called Alyce, I have to recommend that you implement Network Security immediately!

Please know that our Community of Volunteers come from locations around the world so time zones play a big part in how quickly the person with the answer is available to address your question. Your patience is appreciated!

    Hi DCi,

Thanks! I just updated my profile for my pc. My network is Alyce. What do you mean by network security? Our wireless is password protected(need network security key) to connect. We don't have any security type though if that is what you mean. If we do need one which one would you prefer? Also how do you change the channel?

There are a number of other networks appearing on Channel 11. You might consider moving to channel 3 or 9 as those channels are open.

WEP encryption is the least secure of the Wireless Securities. I would suggest WPA2 if that's available to you.

Meaning I'll have to log into the router and change the channel? Thanks for the fast response!

Yes, you will need to log into the Router to change the channel. If you have a wired connection to the router, it would best be done from that. Depending on how your wireless is setup on the devices connecting wirelessly, you might need to reconfigure each device as well. Some are set to auto (they will find the wireless networks) others are set to search only the channel that you set (manual). If your devices are configured as auto, it will be easy.

The Security change also requires that you do it from the router itself. That will require dropping the wireless from your device and reconnecting with the new Security type and re-entering your password.

    You are running

    uTorrent REG_SZ "C:\Program Files (x86)\uTorrent\uTorrent.exe" /MINIMIZED
    BitTorrent REG_SZ "C:\Program Files (x86)\BitTorrent\BitTorrent.exe" /MINIMIZED

thats two torrents that will kill any network off with the traffic the generate and you run the chance of being infected by malware using torrents

ok I think I found the problem. It should be our router because i can connect fine with lan but when trying to connect to the wireless it won't work. I called Time Warner and they tryed to connect us but they said that the router would not let us connect. How would I go about solving this?
