Fake Lottery scam.

    Please be warned of a fake lottery scam.

    It asks for your personal details wich could cause you some terrible trouble and ID theft.

    Now I do not do the lottery nore have I entered any compatition to win thousands of pounds.So I know I have not won anything.

    This is a complete scam,the email looks like this:

    YOU HAVE WON £800,000.00
    From: UK NATIONAL LOTTERY INC adminuklottery[​IMG] You may not know this sender.

    Rule of thumb applies here; if it appears too good to be true...it definitely is.

    There are many of us know this is a SCAM,but there are also many many out there who do not.

    Just plain greedy criminals.

    Just thought I would post as a warning for those who do not understand these are scams.

    I get all kind of those scam emails on my xxxxxxxx@yahoo.com address. Of course, the EULA explains right up front that Yabba-Dabba-Dooee sells your address to any and everyone. It's my 'throwaway' addy, and it's used for unimportant things so it doesn't matter.

    If your heads-up prevents one person from giving their life away, the post did it's job. I'll thank you for them.........
