I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question but...

After doing the computer recovery, every single programs on my custom-built pc was wiped out. Graphic cards, video cards, sound cards, network cards... all gone from the system and could not be used until I find all of their softwares to reinstall them again...

Now the problem is that I don't know what I have in the PC... and there's no other choice than to buy a ...uhh magnetic wristband?..., open the case and look inside? I rather not do that since I'm really clumsy and not afford to buy another computer that would be as good as this one...:( The guy who put my computer together seemed to move away while ago.

Is there any software on earth that could run on my XP and recognize what kind of drivers, modem, hardwares that I have?

By the way, I did tried to copy drivers from a "healthy" pc into this one... not sure if all other drivers worked, but I'm sure the network card software doesn't.

Hi, Thanks for the help but my computer cannot get online at all... and beside there's no sign of unknown network card on that device manager list of my pc.
I also tried the driver guild toolkit software, no help at all...

You should follow those instructions then look up your device on the computer you are useing now ? Then we should be able to help you find the right drivers.

I followed the instruction and found 4 unknown devices on that computer
    80333 B-Bus IOAPIC
    80333 A-Bus IOAPIC

The other two couldn't be found on PCI Vendor/Device lists...
    Ven 10DE/ Dev 0368
    Ven 10DE/ Dev 0400

    Strange...

Please tell me what's the next step? And how to install them? Thank you soo much for helping...:(

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
here is the only support page i can find , but this will find at least one of those drivers and maybe more. I am not to familiar with nvidia xfx support. Do you use a graphics card or any extra's ? Or do we just need drivers for the motherboard ?
