I'm getting a D-sub out of range error on my 2nd monitor(NEC Multi Sync LCD 1860NX) when I try to activate both extended or duplicate desktop. When I plug in an old HP 17" monitor it has the same error exept its only on extended desktop, duplicate desktop works. All my restore points are gone in system restore for some reason, so I cant try that route, and Ive tried downloading the Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family drivers and it doesnt help. Finally my device manager shows a video controller problem, and the new hardware wizard finds a new video controller at startup but cant find the software to install it. Maybe the carbeurator?:BangHead: Somebody please help !
