what's the difference between "could" and "would"

i am not asking for complete elaboration about the difference. I only always use "could'' and ''would'' randomly. Anyone can tell me their difference? in the most common sense, that's enough

i know they are past-tense of can and will, but they seems like to be more than just the past tense.

I could buy a new car today if I won the $1 million prize in the Lottery.
I would buy a new car today if I won the $1 million prize in the Lottery.

Would -- intended to; inclined to
    Could -- was possible to

I would fly if I could fly.
    is not the same as
I could fly if I would fly (a nonsense statement).
