Hello everyone! To begin I just want to say I know absolutely nothing about computers which I think is odd because I'm 22. I would love to learn more though! My problem is when I turn on my laptop and it comes to the windows home screen a box comes up. At the top of the box it says AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found. Below this and to the right of a red X it reads The procedure entry point xmlTextReaderName could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2.dll. Anyone who could tell me what this is exactly and how to get rid of it I would greatly appreciate them. :)

If you don't use MobileMe or iCloud then uninstall them from add/remove programs and you should stop getting this error on startup.

If you don't want to uninstall anything just stop that exe starting up with Windows. If your not sure how to do this then let me know what version of Windows you're running and I'll walk you through.

I'm not even sure what MobileMe or iCloud is.

Both are services from Apple that sync your contacts, bookmarks, etc over multiple devices. Uninstall them since you don't seem to use either, they come standard as part of the iTunes install.

In add/remove programs you'll have either MobileMe or iCloud but probably not both.

They are iTunes modules that get installed with the main application...

Ok when I downloaded iTunes MobileMe and iCloud were part of the iTunes download? I've had iTunes on this laptop longer than this box has been popping up though. What caused it just to start? I'm just curious. I uninstalled both MobileMe and iCloud and now I'm going to restart my computer and I will see if it's gone. :)

Any number of things could have caused the problems to start.

    Glad you got it sorted.
