[Answered] Chat Room or Live Help...maybe?

Hey guys I understand the costs of hosting and obvious lack of financial support besides ads, donations, and personal contributions which I am EXTREMELY THANKFUL for, but I have been just learning web development and design and thought that if this site had a live help system or chat room where people could resort to for more help if needed then that would be awesome. Scripts aren't that hard to find for something like this if that would be a problem, and my basic coding skills and photoshop graphic design services are readily available as my way of saying thanks and supporting this site...I wish I could donate but I am mentally disabled and receive government support as I cannot obtain a job or proper education due to my illness. Well just thought I'd suggest that and say thank you for this service. With all of the big corporations heavily investing in web advertisement, it wont be long before running a popular forum or site will be profitable enough to have as a career. I hope you guys land a nice big microsoft ad deal since you are doing their job for them. I am currently working on a search engine project that I think will be better then google but me and my team of hacks have zilch funding where as google = billions. However, my team is of the web elite and have a few tricks up our sleeves. Well I have already said to much but good things will come to those who provide such nobel services like pchelpforum.com

I'm not too sure what others think of this, my worry though is live help brings so many issue into it, with such a large user base a chat room would be havock and people trying to get an answer would have to read through so many unrelated things.

Also with a message board the solution is there for people to read through if they ever have the same problems, I think a chat room would be cool but I'm not too sure it'd work for this site, not as a means for support anyways. Thats just my opinion though.

Good luck with the search engine, seems like a cool project, glad I'm not the one trying to get the indexing done though(!)

The other problem with a "live" PCHF Chat Room, is that all the staff here...are volunteer...a chat room demands a certain amount of time to be spent dedicated to the site, at the moment - we jump on when we're able to...We wouldn't be able to control a chat room and keep our same level of free service
