Phishing is something that is becoming more and more of a problem over the years.
Phishing is where a sites are made to look like another, for example myspace or facebook, or even sites such as on-line banking. The purpose of these sites are to steal your account details.

Online accounts like PayPal have had a great number of phishing expeditions that pretend to represent their company while attempting to gather account information.
Phishing goes beyond the simple transmission of an email or instant message. Websites that are near carbon copies of the original website are linked to the email. A victim may receive an email that states there is a problem with their account and they need to click the link and log into their account immediately
