Ok so here the deal I was downloading what i thought was a myspace ap (friend blaster pro) after uysing it my pc got real slow so I closed and uninstalled it. Then my desktop changed with a background that said your pc in infected and spyware programs came up to scan my system (i know those are fake) thus other "youve been infected messages in the system try) so i go on teh inetrent and search for spyware on yahoo and the net closes up when I tried to do a spyware search... so i restarted my pc.... and now somtimes the desktop doesnt appear at all, other times it does but the icons dont, and now I cant open up task manager (says its locked by admin) I cant open a SINGLe exe file (meaning cant browse the net and even if i downloaded software I cant run it because its an exe file). So then if I cant even download or run programs to try to fix it what else can I do? Is my pc down for the count? Is reformatting my only option? (also I cant even start in safe mode, if i try that the pc just reboots)

Hmm iv hurd this problem many times before, but il let a tech staff take care of it. So il mark this thread open. Im guessing you wont be able to do the preworks which is located in my sig right?

thats ocrrect since I cant open my web browsers (because its an exe file) and even if i could I couldnt open the files I download of teh neytt (because theyre also exe files) and I cant boot into safe mode so yeah Im pretty curious on how it would possibly be fixed other than reformatting anyway (which I tried to reinstall windows but the BSOD came up, though I notice its "fake" because when it pops up while I have windows running and I press the windows key on my keyboard. The start menu pops up behind the BSOD"

also the two fake anti spyware apps on my pc are security tool and windows police protection, I cant open, exe files, cant open task manager (says its disabled by the admin) cant open regedit and cant boot into safe mode (the pc just restarts) and take access folder options (when i open up a folder and go to "tools" the folders options setting which is usually there isnt there anymore)

Do you have access to another PC, a USB stick, and Safe Mode on the infected PC?

If yes, you can download the exe's in question and run them from the USB Stick in Safe Mode on the infected PC.

In order to get into Safe Mode reboot your PC and hit F8 as they computer is booting up. Then, choose Safe Mode in the menu you are presented with.

Safe Mode loads a minimum of drivers and services so the Malware will most readily be removed in this mode

well if you see the above posts I noyed that my pc cant be booted in same mode (when I click on run in safe mode it starts to load teh drivers like it usually does then it just restarts so safe mode is also not an option

Do you have a Windows CD? I'm not seeing a way out of this other than a format
