Yesterday my Advent 3219 running XP pc was infected with a trojan I have run many scans and tried to remove this without luck. I then decided to restore my computer to an earlier day each time I go to do this I have the following error message
System restore has been turned off by group policy
I have not got a clue what this means and presume this trojan has stopped me from performing system restore. I googled the problem and found that I had to go into regedit hkeylocal etc and delete disable SR" in system restore this did not work.Please can anyone help me as I a lost without my PC as I run a online business from home!! Nothing I am doing is working - also each time I turn this pc on it pops up with antivirus 2010 and that I have to buy that???? - is that part of the Virus??Any help would be greatly aprreciatedThanks
