My parents' computer has been restarting before it finishes loading. The only way to stop this is to go into Safe Mode. I scanned it with AVG anti-virus software and they had two viruses. One was Trojan.kolweb.j and the other was Trojan.small. I deleted both, but the computer keeps restarting unless they put it in safe mode.

I've tried other virus scanners on their computer, but none will work because they say they need to get an updated version of the virus definitions. I'd post a HijackThis log, but can't get download SUPERantiSpyware because I can't connect their computer to the internet, even trying Safe Mode with Networking will cause the computer to restart before it finishes loading.

Anybody have any ideas on how to remedy this? Thanks in advance.

You could attempt to repair the operating system from the backup disk.
