Exclamation resource hog

Hey,
I am a faithful member. I love you guys. Y'all have always helped me in the past with pc problems. I haven't had any in a long time until today.
I noticed my pc was running sluggish so I took a look at task manager and there is a process called cisvc.exe that is hogging all resources. CPU usage is at 100%. So I ran my anti virus and it found a trojan>>> Win32:Trojan-gen {VC} It is unable to clean it or move it to chest. (Avast) Does one have to do with the other? Are the two related?
Please help.

Fay

Default Re: resource hog

ciscv.exe is the windows indexing service. You can disable indexing by right clicking a hard drive, clicking properties, and uncheck the box that reads "Index this drive for faster search results" and hit apply and make sure to select "All files, folders, and subfolders."

Personally I always un-index all drives as I rarely ever search the HDs for files. I also disable all indexing services from running (set them to Disabled in the Services panel from Administrative tools)

I'm not too sure about the trojan though
