Hi
Im having some problems with my computer. I get an error messege saying "Svchost.exe
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at loction 0x5b86a3c0"
then my internet dies and forces my to restart computer if I want internet back on.

I have zone alarm antivirus and firewall running constantly aswell as registry booster. If some1 could advice me on how to sort this that would be much appreciated.

Hi -- with this particular app there can be many causes...
The first thing to eliminate is Virus/Malware-- because many do utilize this function once you are infected.
I know you have Zone Alarm running... but no software is absolutely perfect defensive barrier. New bugs happen every few seconds, unfortunately.

I suggest you follow the Prework link in my sig-- and post a HiJack This log in the HJT log forum for analysis.

OK--that's a good thing, actually.

Were you by any chance using Outlook or Office at the time of error ?
Everything I can find pounts to those 2 apps for this.
