I ran avg, spybot search and destroy, and nothing. i get pop-ups every 5 minutes that take a huge hunk out of my ram. what is the best way to go about getting rid of this?

I had the same problem when I installed a media player called 3w player. It took me ages to find but found gram.exe that was causing the popups. Don't know if thats any help to you.
