My pc was recently infected with some viruses and spyware. After cleaning most of them up with my anti-spyware and anti-virus (PC tools spywaredoctor and PC tools antivirus) there is one left that i can't seem to get rid of.
The infected file is C:\WINDOWS\system32\cbxwtur.dll
I can't do anything to this file when not in safe mode because i recieve an "access denied" message.
When i boot into safe mode on the administrator account the file is being used by another person or program.
For situations like these, I usually use a program called "moveonboot" to delete it when the pc boots up, but this isnt working for some reason.
I have also used the system file checker and repaired my windows installation.
My anti-virus also can't delete the file and says it will delete it on reboot, but apparently id doesn't.
Before i repaired windows, i would sometimes get a
BSOD especially when i started a program.
I'm pretty sure viruses do this quite a lot, so im hoping someone could tell me what i should do.
I'm using windows xp service pack 2 and i do not have an available restore point.
