I have had 3 Attacks onto my online account through my PhPBB2 forum, from there the "hacker" then tried to access my hosters server through a port i didn't have authorisation to.

I now had to delete the folder containing my forum till i got it save. How can i make a PhPBB2 forum save from such attacks?

besides crackertracker i haven't found anything with substance small hints and tipps, which i implemented after the 2nd time, but didn't work

Tedra i don't think we have any phpbb experts on here im afraid. How about trying the Official Phpbb Forums ?

what i actually would like to know is how it works in theory that they are able to get into the account. I am going to implement a small online game, with php features, so i don't neccessary need the forum, just some features of it in the end. so can anyone give me more an understanding how someone can get into my webaccount by using php websites?

But if you don't know its fine, i just thought with sooo many member sombody would know
