Yesterday i ended up with spyware on my pc so i formatted it and put windows xp back on. Now i ve got norton anti virus and spybot and windows defender and all say theres nothing wrong with my pc but since i formatted i cant get on the internet on my pc but can on my laptop which use the same router. Also my hard drive is 250 gig but now says its only 127 gig.

You may need to reinstall your network card drivers...among others.

Go to your control panel and check to see if you have components that need to be installed still.

Start menu -> settings -> control panel -> system -> hardware tab -> device manager.

Check for devices that have an exclamation point beside them.
