You can do it by following AVG Anti-Virus and Internet Security - FAQ and doing the repair part insted.

Add/Remove Components - choose if you want to add/remove some AVG component or reinstall the entire AVG program
Repair installation - this option repairs or reinstalls missing or damaged components of AVG
Uninstall - this option removes the AVG program from your PC

I cant even run the program to get the option to repair lol.

I've ran out of ideas , lets see if someone else has any .

Did you try the procedure in Windows safe-mode?

i had this problem. go into the Harddrive in my computer, navigate to where the AVG file is, and delete the file

Thanks for all the help guys, I eventually got it deleted that way - Cheers again...Im afriad I have bigger PC problems now though lol.
