Default *URGENT HELP NEEDED* Bogus Security Site Spam

I'm working with a wireless connection here, my laptop along with my family's desktop PC. I managed to get SpyCrush popping up constantly on this laptop, and did a system restore to get rid of it as it drove me crazy (trying to study for exams with that popping up...). I lost a lot of files from that as I didn't want to risk getting it back.
A day after the restore we've got something similar on the desktop. A pop-up will appear saying something along the lines of Virus found, and clicking any button (I have NOT clicked OK) will redirect that page to a thing called SecurityDoctor. Closing that will reinitiate a pop up sequence which will lead to an install page with plenty of ActiveX files trying to install along the way (which are blocked by my PC).
I've currently got ZoneAlarm Free, AVG and AdAware on that PC, and they can't stop it as far as I know.
I really cannot do another system restore, losing my files is nothing compared to what my family has on the desktop. My family doesn't make backup discs for their stuff, so we'd lose everything again.

Please, is there any way to kill these bloody pop ups and spyware things? My dad's OTT about hackers and will probably blame me for the thing (despite me only using it to play Lord of the Ring Online, which would probably mean he'd tell me it caused the problem).

Please help, any suggestions/guides/whatever appreciated.

I just spotted the Prework I should pay more attention

I'll post back if there're any problems.

(Sorted out my problem before)

**Problem**

Running AVG, under the Reports Tab I cannot select or see anything "Automatically generate report after every scan"
Un-Select "Only if threats were found"

Only says No reports found, can't check anything.

Also, the Start Update button doesn't do anything, becomes Please wait then switches back.

Hello,

You sent me this pm:
Hi,
I've followed the PreWork as best as I can, and rebooted. I can't see a Safe Mode. I've listed what I can see in the thread I started.
Thanks for your help.
LePsycho
Just to confirm, does that mean you are stuck in Step 4?

No, I forgot I sen the PM. My problem is I could not get AVG to make a log of what happened. I completed the other steps, though I may run it again if it's worth getting the log from AVG?
