A few days ago my mom's computer suddenly became very slow at start up and something kept trying to shut down the various McAfee services on my system, and managed to completely shut down the network manager. The other programs say they are working fine, although I have seen that McAfee frequently reinstalls it's own anti-virus program. My computer experiences the same problems. Both computers have been getting IP address conflict messages and have slowed down dramatically. Internet speeds have been negatively affected as well. McAfee, UnHackMe, and SpySweeper have all said both computers are completely clean. I'll leave this thread for my mom's computer, but I'm going to make a different thread for my own computer first like chiaz suggested. Thanks.

I have moved your thread to the Spyware/Adware section. There is no hurry, we can work on your computer first. But can you please start a new thread here for your computer, and leave this for your mom's? That would make things more organized.
