I recommend Spybot and Ad-Aware SE.

Yeah i agree with Chris, there's also Avg Anti-spyware 7.5,



there isen't really a "best" Anti-spyware, as people have differant opinions.

spywareblaster is a PREVENTER of spyware being installed-- the only cost (completely voluntary) is a subscription so it updates automatically. Ten dollars annually (!!)
If you don't mind doing the 'manual' updates-- it is completely free for home use and VERY effevctive
