Default [Answered] lsass.exe in processes

I have found lsass.exe in the processes. I think it may have slowed down the computer when turning on becuae it froze for about a minute or two. I had a look on google and i found that it may be a virus.

I have it aswell mate, im pretty sure it is a official windows process, as i bought my PC brand new from pc world and it was there when i started.

I hope that eases the worry, but still you should scan your harddrive with NOD32 or Avast (I recommend them both to be great anti viruses.)

Yep it is a windows process but it can become infected or have 'impostors'. Oh and btw check my post about your desktop in the show off your desktop thread

theres 2 types of files that i know of cuz i had this virus before its a keylogger but u might not have it.

Example : there are 2 types

theres Lsass & Isass thats and i

search ur system 32 Lsass is windows prossess isass is keylogger

in the system 32 folder I have lsass.exe that says its a LSA Shell (Export Version). File version 5.1.2600.2180 company: Microsoft Corporation.
